Does SoftRewrite preserve the original meaning?

Yes. It is designed to improve rhythm, clarity, and tone while keeping the central idea and intent of the original draft intact.

What kind of writing is it best for?

It works best for everyday practical writing: emails, social posts, notes, blurbs, support replies, client drafts, and short-form copy that needs a human pass.

Can I choose different writing tones?

Yes. Free includes 3 tones, Basic includes 5 tones, and Pro includes 8 tones so the rewrite can better match the channel.

Can I control the output length?

Yes. The length slider is included on every plan, including Free. It can make the rewrite shorter, balanced, or longer without changing how usage is counted.

Can I review the rewrite before using it?

Yes. The workspace shows the original draft and the rewritten version so you can compare the result before copying it.

Do I need an account?

Yes. Google sign-in is used for access to rewrites, history, and workspace settings.

How are usage limits counted?

Usage is counted by input words. Free includes 1,000 words per month and paid plans increase both monthly words and words per input.
